A Message From President

Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Supporters,

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Gulf Society of Neonatology (GSN). Health is one of the fundamental pillars of individual and community well-being. With this belief at heartโ€”and a clear vision that progress begins with proactive leadershipโ€”the idea of GSN was born.

Established by a group of dedicated young pioneers, the society seeks to launch a dynamic, community-based healthcare initiative aimed at transforming neonatal health practices and raising awareness across our region. Our vision is to create a more informed society, driven by advanced knowledge and practices in neonatologyโ€”one that is committed to improving the quality of life for newborns through innovation and collaboration.

Our mission focuses on education, empowerment, and scientific advancement by enhancing healthcare awareness through focused programs, promoting research and evidence-based practices, and ultimately delivering sustainable, high-quality neonatal care to every newborn and family across the Gulf.

GSN targets a wide audience including healthcare professionals, educators, university students, mothers, families, and youth, and is committed to developing culturally relevant educational content, raising awareness among neonatal healthcare professionals, training skilled medical leaders, and building strategic partnerships with government and private healthcare sectors throughout the Gulf region. Together, we have the opportunityโ€”and the responsibilityโ€”to shape a healthier, more conscious future for our youngest and most vulnerable population.

Dr. Ali Al-Mudeer

President, Gulf Society of Neonatology (GSN)
